Individuals with disabilities represent a growing population across the United States. While much of the educational focus for children and teens centers on traditional academics, many students reach adulthood without the necessary skills to thrive independently. By age 22, far too many find themselves unemployable, unable to safely care for themselves, and lacking the independence they deserve. Families and caregivers are often left unsure of how to provide the right balance of supervision, education, and meaningful opportunities for their loved ones.

Although many individuals receive support through programs such as the Medicaid Waiver, there remains a significant shortage of high-quality adult day training programs led by knowledgeable, compassionate professionals.

That’s where LYF Inc. makes a difference. Serving the East Pasco and North Hillsborough communities, LYF Inc. provides safe, engaging environments where adults with disabilities can grow, learn, and thrive. Our programs focus on life skills development, independent decision-making, and real-world learning, all with the goal of maximizing each individual’s quality of life.

Amy and Jim Cracchiolo bring a wealth of experience and passion to their work with individuals with disabilities, spanning both the public and private sectors.

Amy served in the Pasco County School System from 2007 to 2012 and has been supporting individuals in their homes and communities since 2006. Jim worked in the Pasco County School System from 2004 to 2012 and has been providing similar support since 1999.

Together, they have devoted countless volunteer hours to Special Olympics—planning events, supervising athletes, and participating in weekend tournaments. Both Amy and Jim hold Master’s degrees in Special Education, underscoring their commitment to professional excellence and lifelong impact in this field.
